'Detective K: Secret of the Lost Island' Director says "Lee Yeon-hee is pretty even when dressed up as guy"

Actress Lee Yeon-hee attended the press conference for the movie, 'Detective K: Secret of the Lost Island', which took place in Apgujeong CGV on January 5th. This film is a sequel to "Detective K" released four years ago.

During the press conference, Director Kim Seok-yoon said "Everybody loved Lee Yeon-hee when she dressed up as a man.

He smiled after he said "She looked really pretty even when she dressed up as a guy. At the last ending scene, she had to dress up as an assassin. The prepared costume looked vague. So I told her to dress up just like a guy. A male staff member on the set took a photo of her. A lot of people at the time kept the photo".

'Detective K: Secret of the Lost Island' is a comic detective drama featuring the excellent pair of Joseon's top detectives, Kim Min (Kim Myung-min) and Seo-pil (Oh Dal-soo), who take a great adventure throughout the ocean and lands in order to solve two difference cases at the same time: bogus silver bar trading and a little girl's request to find her missing younger brother.

The film is a sequel to "Detective K", which was released on New Year's Day in 2011 and brought 4.7 million people to the theater at the time. Detective K: Secret of the Lost Island will be released on Lunar New Year's Day in February.
