'Memories of Murder' Wins Four Cognac Awards

"Memories of Murder", directed by Bong Joon-ho, opened on April 11 in France and won four awards at the Festival de Film Policier de Cognac, CJ Entertainment said on Wednesday.
The awards received were the Grand Prix Cognac 2004, the Prix Special Police given by an awarding committee composed of police officers, the Prix Premiere given by the movie magazine "Premiere" and Prix des Mediatheques.

This year is the 22nd anniversary of the Cognac Festival, which is known for showing and awarding police movies and thrillers.

Last year, director Park Chan-Wook received the Prix des Mediatheques award at the festival for his movie "Revenge is Mine".
