'Oldboy' Wins Stockholm Film Fest's Viewers' Choice Award

Local film "Oldboy" was honored with the viewers' choice award at the 15th Stockholm International Film Festival. The Star! Audience Award is given to the film screened at the event that the audience votes to be most popular.
This is not the first time that director Park Chan-wook's broody tale of revenge has received recognition on the international stage. "Oldboy" garnered the runner-up prize at the Cannes Film Festival in May.

American film maker Oliver Stone picked up this year's Bronze Horse award for lifetime achievement.

The Stockholm International Film Festival is a leading festival in northern Europe that presents works from the Americas, Europe and Asia.

Showing more than 160 movies from 40 countries, the 15th Stockholm International Film Festival kicked off on Nov. 18 and closed Sunday.
