'Real' man Hyun Bin is the new face of Cantata

Actor Hyun Bin who just returned from the Marines has become the new model for Cantata according to Lotte Chilsung which has so far had only the top stars like So Ji-sub and Lee Min-ho to represent them.

Hyun Bin was at highest demand when he volunteered into the Marines. His ideal military life was a good example to many and this sincere image applied to advertisements, making him one of the most wanted stars on the front page.

Lotte Chilsung had been requesting the actor to be its model since before he returned from National Service. It also sent a huge banner congratulating him of his discharge and handed out 3,000 cans of Cantata coffee to the people on site.

Hyun Bin's value seems like it's going to stay in the higher peak for a while as it becomes contrasted to Rain's attitude towards his military service.

Meanwhile, Lotte Chilsung's new ad will start airing in February and Hyun Bin's contract is up at the end of 2013.
