The original TVING series "A Bloody Lucky Day" (directed by Pil Kam-sung, written by Kim Min-sung-V and Song Han-na, Planning Studio Dragon, Production Doug Late Show, Studio N, courtesy of TVING) is a story of a taxi that begins to run in fear when an ordinary taxi driver Oh Taek (Lee Sung-min) takes a high-priced customer (Yoo Yeon-seok) to Mokpo and realizes that he is a serial killer. It provides overwhelming thrills and suspense from the breathtaking companionship of the two to the desperate pursuit of Hwang Soon-gyu (Lee Jung-eun) who chases the one who killed his son.

Until now, the TVING original series has confirmed the true value of K-content by showcasing various fresh materials and high-quality works. In particular, in 2022, genres such as "The King of Pigs", "Monstrous", "Rose Mansion", and "Bargain" were introduced one after another, drawing keen attention.

"Bargain" proved its global competitiveness by winning this year's 6th Cannes International Series Festival Screenplay Award. "Bargain" tells the story of three people bargaining for each other's 'ransom' after being trapped in a building collapsed by the earthquake, and each begins a dangerous trade to seize the last opportunity. Combining a new worldview with the unconventionality of the original short film that became the motif has been reborn as a TVING original series that adds an expanded story and scale.

"The King of Pigs", which opened the doors to 'genre' is a tracking thriller that tells the story of those who bring up 'memories of violence' from a message from a friend left at the scene of a series of murders 20 years ago. It throws a heavy topic, depicting the bare face of school violence and the absurdity of class society. It was well received for its adaptation of the tracking thriller genre to the theme consciousness and message of the original animation.

In the second half of this year, "A Bloody Lucky Day" will continue the genealogy of the well-made genre of TVING Original. It is noteworthy that it is the first OTT drama by director Pil Kam-sung, who showed the essence of a real-time thriller through the movie "Hostage: Missing Celebrity". On top of that, the synergy of acting by Lee Sung-min, Yoo Yeon-seok, and Lee Jung-eun is by far the best point to watch. Based on Naver Webtoon of the same name, whose well-organized composition and story are overwhelming, the combination of actors and producers that will further maximize genre pleasure is heating up expectations. As director Pil Kam-sung said earlier, "The suspense that takes place in a limited space and time is an attractive work", and "I think the experiential suspense given by the intense sense of being in a taxi with a killer is a unique difference".

The original TVING series "A Bloody Lucky Day" will be released on Friday, the 24th through Part 1 (1st to 6th episodes) on TVING.
