Continuing our journey into the future, we moved to the third room which produced an appreciative "ahhh" from the guys as we took in a sleek sports car awaiting us on a platform. The room, U.DRIVING is where you can experience driving a car from the future. The car, which you can operate with your T.Keym, not only drives on its own but it also literally puts you on the road to much more.

You can hold an online conference with a projected display on the front windshield, you can locate the nearest five-star restaurant, and recharge your car in only 30 seconds.

What the car may lack in driving experience (because it drives itself), it more than makes up in the comfort of getting all your daily tasks done on your commute to or from work. Who needs a computer when your car is so much smarter? The guide said that some of the technologies are already out on the market and the self-driving car is closer to reality then we might like to believe.

If you are sartorially inclined and love shopping but hate blisters on your feet and wrestling with other shoppers in a crowded stores, SK Telecom has a special solution for you, U.SHOPPING.

Based on your past shopping records T.Me (yes, your cyber avatar is still following you) will automatically assess your preference and show a list of items that might interest you by searching stores all over the world (no exaggeration here). You can browse the list of items that has been personally chosen for you while T.Me impatiently jumps out to find the best deal for you so that there doubt the recesses of your mind about whether you overpaid for the item.

Gone are the days when you actually had slip into a cramped fitting room to try something on. At U.FASHION, you can enter a Star Trek like vacuum tube and the computer measures every inch of your body creating a virtual avatar that looks like you with the same body mass. You can play dress up with your avatar making him or her try on the most outrageous outfit and see exactly how it would look on you.Did I mention you can make your avatar do a catwalk down the runway?

In the final section of the museum you can see technologies that are already available… at least in Korea. It really shows you how far advanced we already are.

You can already dock your smartphone with your TV to send the video from your phone to the giant TV screen. You can use QR codes to authenticate a bottle of whiskey or wine before paying for it. You can use a tablet to control all of the lights and electronics in your house, even when you're not home.

If you want to experience the highest technology avaiallbe today and get a good idea of what will be available soon, the T.Um museum is an absolute must during your visit to Seoul. To get to the museum, take subway line 2 to Euljiro 1-ga Station on the north side of the river. It is located in the SK Telecom building, which connects directly with the subway station. You'll need to make a reservation in advance by visiting the museum's website: http://tum.sktelecom.com/eng/. Plan ahead, the museum's reservation book fills up quickly.
