Actors from Hit Soap Tapped to Promote North Chungcheong Province

Actors Yoon Si-yoon and Lee Young-ah will be named promotional ambassadors for North Chungcheong Province early next month. The two are starring in the hit KBS drama "Bread, Love and Dreams" shot in Cheongju and other areas in the province.
"The innocent and considerate image of their characters in the drama reflects the beautiful scenery and nature in North Chungcheong Province", an official with the provincial government said. The province is also considering making some of the actors in the soap opera, including Yoon and Lee, honorary citizens.
Thanks to the popularity of the show, tourists are flocking to Suam Village in Cheongju and Cheongnamdae, a former presidential vacation villa in Cheongwon. The province also expects an inflow of foreign tourists if the drama is aired overseas.
