[Reporter : ] Hello Conn-young

Tom Cruise is officially single again now that Katie Holmes has filed for divorce. Holmes is now seeking full custody of their six-year-old daughter, Suri.

The couple wed in 2006 in a castle in Italy in what was the third marriage for Cruise, whose previous marriages were to Mimi Rogers and Nicole Kidman.

It definitely seems like Hollywood was in quite a stir this week with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes splitting -- and with Adele expecting a baby. Well I hope for the best for Tom and Katie and I really hope that their child will not suffer too much. And Adelewow.. this comes as a complete surprise but it's definitely good news for her and for her fans.

[Reporter : ] Yes it is. I mean, we've been mentioning Adele quite a bit in this corner and I still had no idea she was pregnant. Overall, it seems like there was a series of good and bad news this week.

Well, I hope things get brighter next week. And moving on, what else do you have for us[Reporter : ] I have more good and bad news for you all. Actor Andy Griffith passed away just yesterday and Madonna's fans in Sweden are probably worried whether her concert will take place as scheduled, due to an unfortunate accident. I have this and more for you. Let's take a look.

Actor Andy Griffith passed away yesterday at his North Carolina home. He was 86 years old.

The actor is perhaps best-remembered for his role as a small-town sheriff on "The Andy Griffith Show", which has become one of the most enduring series in American television.

There's bad news for fans waiting for Madonna in Sweden A truck transporting the sound equipment for the pop star's "MDNA" tour flipped over en route to the tour venue yesterday. She is scheduled to perform today and sources say they are still unsure whether the accident will stop the concert.

Moving on to Tom Cruise Although the A-list actor seems to have hit troubling times in his personal life due to his divorce, his acting career is skyrocketing.

Cruise topped Forbes Magazine's list of highest paid actors, raking in 75 million U.S. dollars over the past year.

And to end with some pleasant news, it seems clear that Alec Baldwin's taste in music tends toward the classical. The actor has donated one million dollars to the New York Philharmonic.

He is also on the orchestra's board and hosts its radio show, "The New York Philharmonic This Week".

First and foremost, I hope Andry Griffith rests in peace. His work will always be remembered. On a different note Going back to Tom Cruise, he's just making headlines right and left with both his personal life and his career, isn't he[Reporter : ] He definitely is. I remember mentioning to you before that Kristen Stewart topped the list as Forbes Magazine's highest paid actress, and now Tom Cruise has become the highest paid actor. I'm just very jealous of both of them. I also hope Madonna's tour schedule goes forward as planned, and that the sound equipment hasn't been too severely damaged.

I hope so too. Well, we've had a wide variety of celebrity updates today but I'm sure you haven't forgotten the events bulletin, right[Reporter : ] Of course I haven't. Here are the details.

[Reporter : ed: jenny] This bulletin features 3 events.

The 2012 World Electronica Carnival will feature world reknowned DJs such as Benny Benassi, Daishi Dance, the Far East Movement, Shinichi Osawa, and many more. The festival will be held from August 10th to the 12th on Jara Island in Gyeonggi Province.
