Hello Michelle

[Reporter : ] Hello Conn-young

So what will you start us off with[Reporter : ] Today I'm going to begin with some shocking news about a television show that we all love and adore. The man behind the character of Elmo, the fuzzy red monster on the long-running American children's television show "Sesame Street", is taking a break from the show. Take a look at this to learn why.

The puppeteer and voice behind the internationally loved character Elmo on "Sesame Street" is taking a leave of absence from the children's television show.
Kevin Clash, the Elmo puppeteer, was the subject of allegations that emerged Monday that he had had a sexual relationship with an underaged boy.
The unnamed man, who is now 23, recanted his claims on Tuesday.
The man had claimed that he and Clash had a sexual relationship 7 years ago, when he was 16 and Clash was 45.
A representative of the man said in a statement to the U.S. media that he wanted it to be known that his relationship with Clash was an adult consensual relationship.
The New York-based Sesame Workshop released a statement soon after the allegations appeared on Monday, saying the man's claims were unsubstantiated.
Clash also released a statement saying that he had had a relationship with the man, but that they were both consenting adults at the time.
He called the allegations "false and defamatory".
The puppeteer will continue his leave of absence from the show to deal with the situation.
The Elmo character debuted on the show in 1979, and Clash has performed as the character since 1984.That was probably tough for many of our viewers to see, because "Sesame Street" and Elmo have been such a big part of childhood for so many people.

[Reporter : ] I know. Even though the allegations are untrue, it's unfortunate to hear this kind of news about a television show that's been loved for decades.

Well, I'm just glad that the situation was resolved so quickly. And now, moving on, I hear you have some news of a break-up[Reporter : ] That's right.
Teen sensations Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez first shocked fans with the news that they were dating, now the seemingly happy couple has called it quits. I have this and a quick recap of the MTV EMAs. Take a look.

Disney pop princess Selena Gomez and her pop star boyfriend Justin Bieber have called it quits.
E! Online reported last Friday that the two young celebrities had broken up, claiming that "because of their crazy schedules, it was getting harder and harder to maintain a relationship".
News of the break-up was hardly surprising, as the couple was rumored to be having trouble with their relationship for the past month.
Bieber had recently been seen with Victoria's Secret model Barbara Palvin, who tweeted a photo of the two of them going to see "The Lion King" on Broadway last Thursday.
After speculation about the relationship grew, Palvin tweeted that the two are just friends.
The two disclosed their relationship in February of 2011 when they appeared together at an Oscar night party,.. following rumors that began circulating at the end of the previous year.
Break-ups are rough, but the teen heartthrob may have been able to forget some of his sorrow on Sunday, when he became one of the big winners at the MTV European Music Awards.
Bieber picked up three awards for Best Male, Best Pop and Best World Stage.
The other big winner of the night was Taylor Swift, who picked up honors for Best Female, Best Live and Best Look.
Korea was well represented at the awards ceremony, which took place in Frankfurt, with pop sensation PSY taking home the award for Best Video and rocking the stage with his signature horse-riding dance.
Not everyone went home with honors, as Rihanna, who was nominated in six categories, went home empty-handed.

Well, I'm sure some of Justin Bieber's fans will not be as sad as we are to hear the news of his break-up, but it's sad to see such a cute couple break up.

[Reporter : ] It is, but you know, both of them are still very young and I'm sure it won't be hard for them to find love again.
As for the MTV EMAs, I just have to say that it was wonderful and absolutely amazing to see PSY get the Best Video award.

That was a proud moment for all Koreans I'm sure. Well, now to wrap things up, you have the events bulletin, right[Reporter : ] Yes I do. Today's bulletin has concerts by three funny and multi-talented young artists, Lee Seung-gi, Lee Min-woo and J.Y. Park, All of the concerts are in the month of December. Here are the details on each one.

[Reporter : ed: jenny] This bulletin features 3 events.

The multi-talented Lee Seung-gi will return to his roots as a singer when he performs at Olympic Park's Gymnastic Stadium on December 1st and 2nd. Lee first rose to fame as a singer and later gained recognition for his acting.
