Data from TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) on Friday revealed that "Bread, Love and Dreams", with two episodes remaining, brought in a viewership rating of 47.5 percent on September 8 and a 0.7 percent higher mark the following day, indicating that the show may hold onto its reign as the top drama on TV charts until the end of its run.

Figures released by AGB Media Research showed that the No. 1 show in the country scored lower ratings of 43.3 percent on Wednesday night and 44.7 percent on Thursday.

This week's episode focused on the reunion of Tak-koo (Yoon Si-yoon) and his mother Kim Mi-soon (Jeon Mi-sun) after 14 years, meanwhile Yoo-kyung (Eugene) learns a dark secret after her marriage with Ma-joon (Joo Won).

SBS' drama "My Girlfriend is Gumiho", starring Lee Seung-gi and Shin Min-a, held onto its position in second place but saw a drop in TV ratings compared to last week.

On TNmS' polls, the show recorded ratings of 13.2 percent on Wednesday while the figure dropped by almost one percent the next day, while AGB showed that the series scored ratings in the ten percent mark on both nights.

Meanwhile, MBC's new teenage drama "Naughty Kiss", starring Kim Hyun-joong and Jung So-min, trailed behind at No. 3.
