Numbers from TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) on Friday revealed that "Bread, Love and Dreams", into its sixth episode, scored viewership ratings of 32.2 percent last night and 28.5 percent on Wednesday.

Statistics released by AGB Nielsen Media Research were slightly lower with viewership ratings of 27.1 percent on June 23 and 31.1 percent on Thursday night.

This week's episode revealed the reason why Tak-koo (played by Yoon Si-yoon) goes against Ma-joon (played by Joo Won) and how Tak-koo meets with the baking master Oh Doo-yong (played by Jang Hang-sun).

MBC's new war series "Road No. 1", which began its run on June 23, brought in viewership ratings in the nine to 11 percent range on both charts, while SBS' "Bad Man" did not air this week due to the 2010 World Cup broadcast.

"Bad Man" will return next week on its regular primetime slot and SBS will broadcast a 100-minute "Bad Man" Special on Sunday featuring highlights from the previous episodes.
