Choi Si-won appears in American fashion magazine

Super Junior member Choi Si-won has proved his growing international popularity by appearing in an American fashion magazine.

According to SM Entertainment, Friday, the singer participated in a photo shoot for the fall issue of men's magazine "VMAN"when the idol group held a concert in Paris in April. It was shot by Karl Lagerfeld, creative director and head designer of Chanel. The magazine, also published in Europe, featured other high-profile celebrities including David Beckham, Orlando Bloom, and Kanye West.

"Karl Lagerfeld captured different images of him in this photo spread", said the agency. "Choi showed the masculine and charismatic side of him with his toned body".

The magazine described Choi "Korea's most social celebrity" who has emerged as an "icon without parallel in the ever- expanding culture of K-Pop".It also said that "Being the first Korean celebrity to garner 2 million Twitter followers might have brought on an ego transformation of gigantic proportions".

The Korean boy band is to take part in a concert in Jakarta on Sept. 22 as part of the"SM Town Live World Tour".
