"Deep-rooted Tree" is currently focusing on Sejong, talking about the creation of the Hangeul and its 28 letters. On the seventeenth episode of the drama, Kang Chae-yoon (Jang Hyuk) and Milbon Jeong Ki-joon (Yoon Jae-moon) were shocked and called it the "language that will make the sun rise from the west" and foresaw its influence.

As the influence of the Hangeul is revealed piece by piece, several linguists highly value the originality and superiority of it and speak very highly of it.

American linguist Robert Ramsy and Professor Redyard each say, "There is no other language like the Hangeul that is so outstanding. It's the alphabet of the world", and "Hangeul is a luxury of language that can't be compared with anything else and is the most advanced language in the world".

English linguist John Mann and Professor Sase of Hamburg, Germany expressed, "Hangeul is the greatest language; other languages dream of it" and "King Sejong completed the theory of the phoneme 500 years before the West. Hangeul is the best language in the world, with a fusion of traditional philosophy and scientific theory".

Professor J.D McCully from the University of Chicago said, "Hangeul Day is a day which all linguists should celebrate". Female novelist and 1938 Nobel Prize winner Pearl Buck, who is also famous for her book "The Earth", spoke very highly of Hangeul saying, "It is the simplest language in the world. Sejong is the Korean Leonardo Da Vinci as he is gifted with deep and various talents".

The 'hun-min-jeong-eum' which means, 'The Right Voice that Teaches the People' was completed in 1443 (Sejong was 25 years old) and announced in 1446 (Sejong was 28). It was registered in 1997 as a UNESCO Treasure of the World.

At the 43rd General Assembly of the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization), 183 countries agreed to make the Hangeul an Internationally Public Language under the International Patent Treaty. UNESCO is giving out the 'King Sejong Award' to any individual person or organization that contributes to decreasing the illiteracy rate every year.

The "Deep-rooted Tree" production team says, "As we hear all these linguists speaking highly of Hangeul, the "Deep-rooted Tree" team is feeling proud and pleased".
