According to the ratings research company Nielsen Korea, the 10th episode of the MBC weekend drama "The Time We Were Not in Love", which aired on the 26th, received a national rating of 5.5%.  This is a 1.1% decline from the previous episode's 6.6%. It is also lower than the 8th episode's 6.2% which aired last Sunday. "The Time We Were Not in Love" is the lowest rated show amongst the weekend dramas.

"The Time We Were Not in Love" was highly anticipated even before it aired its first episode because of the fact that Ha Ji-won, a ratings darling, was cast as the lead. With Ha Ji-won and a good male actor Lee Jin-uk cast in its lead roles, "The Time We Were Not in Love" was expected to be a hit. It was even called the savior for the SBS weekend drama format which has been experiencing low ratings for a while now.

However, once all the cards were laid out, the outcome was rather different. Compared with MBC's "Make a Woman Cry" and "The Queen's Flower" in a similar timeslot which recorded 22.1% and 17.7% ratings respectively, "The Time We Were Not in Love" is not reaching expectations.

Considering the fact that ratings darling, Ha Ji-won, and Lee Jin-uk who has shown to be good in romantic dramas had joined forces, it is true that this outcome is underwhelming. The ratings have not improved even after the show changed writers twice to fix the problem.

The first place amongst weekend dramas goes to KBS2 "House of Bluebird" with a rating of 27.3%. KBS1 "Jing Bi-rok" rated 7.7%.
