Film 'Revivre' by director Im Kwon-taek rated +18

Movie "Revivre" has been rated +18, "Not suitable for youth".

On February 10th, Korea Media Rating Board made the decision on the film, "Revivre".

The board said, "In terms of the cinematic expression on the screen, the sexual content is too explicit and provocative and in terms of the theme, the content of story is harmful for youth".

"Revivre", director Im Kwon-taek's 102th film, is a story about a man between his dying wife and a young woman.

The film is an adaptation of the novel with the same title authored by Kim Hoon, the award winner of the 28th Lee Sang Literature Grand Award, 2004. The film stars Ahn Sung-ki, Kim Gyu-ri, and Kim Ho-jung.

The film was invited to many international film festivals including the 71st Venice International Film Festival, the 39th Toronto International Film Festival, the 33th Vancouver Film Festival, the 19th Busan International Film Festival, the 34th Hawaii International Film Festival, the 25th Stockholm International Film Festival, the 9th London Korean Film Festival, the 25th Singapore International Film Festival, Brisbane Asia Pacific Film Festival, New Latin America Film Festival, India Kerala Film Festival, and 2014 Venice in Seoul.

The film will be released in April in Korea.
