Four Korean films to screen at Toronto

A total of four Korean feature films have been selected to screen in various sections of the 2004 Toronto International Film Festival.

The films include veteran director IM Kwon-taek's Low Life (formerly titled Raging Years) in the "Masters" section; and KIM Ki-duk's 3-Iron, SONG Il-gon's Spider Forest, and PARK Chan-wook's Oldboy in the Contemporary World Cinema section.
KOFIC will be attending the festival to co-run the Asian Desk, an effort by the Asian Film Industry Network to co-promote Asian films to visiting film industry representatives. In addition, KOFIC will co-host a reception for fans of Asian cinema.

Toronto is recognized as one of the biggest and most important film festivals in North America, particularly from an industry standpoint. It will run this year from September 9-18.
