Girls' Generation and BoA to Appear in 'Summer Sonic' in Japan

Star girl group Girls' Generation and singer BoA will participate in the world famous rock festival entitled "Summer Sonic 2011". Japanese newspaper Sankei Sports reported on July 1 that Girls' Generation and BoA will participate in the outdoor live festival "Summer Sonic 2011" for the first time, and BoA will be the first solo Korean singer to appear in the festival.

"Summer Sonic 2011" will be held a total of four times: two times in Osaka on August 13 and two times in Tokyo on August 14. BoA will appear in the concert in Tokyo on August 13 along with other singers such as Canadian pop singer Avril Ramona Lavigne and Kimura Kaera, and Girls' Generation will appear in the concert in Tokyo as a special guest singing group on August 14 along with other top artists including four-member American funk rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers and a Japanese representative rock band, X-Japan. Girls' Generation delivered their thoughts, saying, "We are very much excited that we can perform with other world famous musicians on the same stage".
