"Korean culture program launched for foreigners"

The Korea Foundation has recently launched a program aimed at connecting foreigners and Koreans through both language and culture. The program will create various opportunities that will allow foreigners and Koreans to "have an opportunity to interact through field trips and language studies, as well as at film, art and music venues offered year-round across Korea".

"Park Su-geun revisited"

The Korea Time's Kwon Mee-yoo returns to the paintings of celebrate artist, Park Su-geun: a mid-20th century artist who enjoyed captured life of everyday Koreans, and whose works have garnered the attention of both local and international collectors. This coming Thursday there will be a special exhibit of his work to commemorate the 50th anniversary of his death at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza's (DDP) Yigansumun Exhibition Hall in Seoul. The artists most expensive work ("The Washing Place") sold for 4.5 billion won back in 2007, this masterpiece, along with over 50 others, will be on display at DDP for everyone to enjoy.
