"Love Is In Small Things"

South Korean artist "Puuung" captures love's 'little moments' in a heart-felt series featuring a couple in love in Seoul. "Love", said the Puuung, "is something that everybody can relate to. And Love comes in ways that we can easily overlook in our daily lives. So, I try to find the meaning of love in our daily lives and make it into artwork". It's all very cute, and anyone who's had their heart won or lost in one of Korea's bustling cities will know the kind of magic moments Puuung presents.

"The Rise of Urban Graffiti in Seoul"

Street art has (thankfully) lost a lot of its 90's scorn and has really outgrown its 'low culture' label in the 21st century. "Straws and strings become art"

The Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA) is hosting the "Interplay" exhibit at Seoul's Gallery 6 until late August. "Today is an era of convergence", said the exhibit's curator, "Artists do not unilaterally display their work, but try to engage the viewers, expanding their experience". There are a number of artist on display, so if you in the capital (or plan to be in the near future) be sure to bookmark this interesting event for an afternoon somewhere along the way.
