In this post, Yeji highlights four art museums in Korea's capital that every art lover will appreciate. The ARA Modern Art Museum, for example, is a modern art museum situated within the ARA Art cultural complex in the trendy Insa-dong area. There's also the Leeum Samsung Museum of Art, which only recently opened its doors to the public.

"Bonner gives glimpse into North Korean graphics"

Nicholas Bonner's book "Made in North Korea: Graphics From Everyday Life in the DPRK" provides new insight into North Korea through its emerging visual culture. Bonner's book is by no means exhaustive, but it does give "a rare glimpse into the everyday life of North Korea, covered with state-controlled, propaganda graphics unknown to the world". Bonner notes that "The idea that North Korea is best is reinforced and amplified in all manner of products".
