"Kim Jong-un or Jesus? North Korean artist turns propaganda on its head"

Sun Mu is a Korean artist who defected from the North during the 90s and made waves after he "began producing satirical works that have since been described as 'Disney characters with a military aesthetic'". The Guardian follows up on an NK News report about the continuing controversy Sun is stoking through his art: "I started drawing them [Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong -il]. People put a political spin on my works, but I think it's up to the viewer. I am continuing on my way".
