The card has been available since January (10,000 cards have already been sold), but political tensions with China have resulted in the government adding more value to them. "The revenues that Korea gained from the sale of these smart cards for the foreigners will be used for a program that will likewise give a wide range of tour programs for inbound visitors coming from different cultures".

The new Lotte World Tower is now open for visitors! The 554.5-metre tall structure is the fifth-highest in the world and the tallest among OECD countries. According to the article, "The tower features the world's highest floor made of glass. From this observation area, visitors can look straight down to the busy traffic about one-half kilometer below". If you're in Seoul, or plan to be in the near future, be sure not to miss this new vista.
