[HanCinema's News] First Productions Stills Released for "Eve"

On May 6th the upcoming South Korean drama "Eve" released its first production stills, with a focus on lead actress Seo Yea-ji alongside an as-yet unidentified foreign performer in the act of dance. The stills set a tone for melodrama that "Eve" is expected to focus on quite a bit, as the story deals with a high profile divorce. Yet Seo Yea-ji in the lead role may not be as straightforwardly sympathetic as might be expected.

"Eve" is the first role for actress Seo Yea-ji since her turn in "Recalled" last year as a woman with a lapsed memory in the center of an elaborate mystery. It's also her first role since a controversy last year when she was accused of, and later apologized for, engaging in abusive gaslighting behavior. The project comes from director Park Bong-seob who most recently directed "Dinner Mate" in 2020 "Eve" will begin airing on South Korean television this coming May 25th.
