[HanCinema's News] Kwon Sang-woo and Lee Se-mi Talk About "Desperate Mr. X"

The title character played by Kwon Sang-woo, actually Mr. a, is a middle-aged man struggling with losing his job and then beginning his own start-up, all while struggling with the reality of being in his mid-forties. Lim Se-mi plays his wife, Mi-jin, who's able to take the disastrous series of events with a warmer, more positive attitude. Kwon Sang-woo mentioned how "Desperate Mr. X" was his first streaming-only project, and discussed the new, fearful experience of waiting for feedback. Despite this, Kwon Sang-woo said that he liked director Kim Jeong-hoon-II as well as his co-stars and that the filming experience was a very enjoyable one.

Lim Se-mi echoed these comments, unsure about how to gauge viewer response without the assistance of ratings reports. Lim Se-mi claims to have received many personal responses on social media whenever she mentioned the drama, with some persons claiming that her story was their story, and that this made them cry. "Desperate Mr. X" airs on the South Korean streaming service wavve from September 2nd to September 9th earlier this year.
