Harvard Business School Students to Learn "Hallyu"

About 40 students of the Business School of Harvard University will learn "hallyu-style business management strategies" from Lee Soo-man, an executive from the entertainment planning agency SM Entertainment.

According to SM Entertainment on May 30, the Harvard Business School students will listen to a lecture on hallyu to be given by Lee at the entertainment agency's headquarters in Apkujeong-dong, Seoul on the afternoon of the same day.

They will listen to Lee talk about the know-how he used to become successful in the entertainment business in the Asian market and his view of culture as an economic value.

Also attending the lecture will be celebrities under SM Entertainment's management, such as Boa, Kangta, Lee Yeon-hee, and two members of the group "Super Junior" -- Han Kyung and Si Won. They will introduce the process of how they became pop stars and answer questions from the audience.

An official from SM Entertainment said, "Students from the Business School of Harvard University, who are staying in Korea to learn about Korea's corporate management culture, have expressed the desire to listen to Mr. Lee Soo-man's management strategy on how he has been successful in the entertainment industry. This is proof that the status of hallyu in the international community has been raised".
