According to YG Entertainment, the two have known each other since they were models, and eventually, their friendship developed into something more.

Lee Sung-kyung and Nam Joo-hyuk starred in the MBC drama "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo".

They share a few common factors together: they are both former models, they are in the same agency and met through "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo".

The two were at the Coldplay concert together according to witnesses.

Lee Sung-kyung featured in various fashion shows and magazines as a super model until she made her acting debut in 2014 through the drama "It's Okay, That's Love". Nam Joo-hyuk started acting in "The Idle Mermaid".
