Kang Ha-neul delights fans in Hong Kong

Kang Ha-neul's fans in Hong Kong had a time of their life at the gala premiere of "Midnight Runners" held on the evening of August 28th. The event, which was attended by Korean heartthrob Kang Ha-neul and "Midnight Runners" director Kim Joo-hwan, took place at Metroplex Emax in Kowloon Bay.

The gala premiere began with a ceremony where Kang Ha-neul spent time with his fans. The actor, with his usual cheerful disposition, was very accommodating as he played games with fans onstage and took photos with them. A press conference was held right after the ceremony.

Prior to the special screening that followed the press conference, a short program was held where the actor generously gave out hugs and even did "aegyo' when requested. He also sang a few lines of "I Will Love You" from the soundtrack of "Monstar", much to the delight of the fans. Kang Ha-neul and director Kim took a group photo with the attendees right before the movie commenced.

Kang Ha-neul's visit to Hong Kong is part of his promotional tour for his latest movie "Midnight Runners" which he stars with with Park Seo-joon. After Hong Kong, the actor will meet his fans in Singapore in August 31st. Kang Ha-neul will start his mandatory military service on September 11th.

"Midnight Runners" revolves around police academy buddies Hee Yeol "Mr. Book Worm" (Kang Ha-neul) and Gi Jun "Mr. Action" (Park Seo-joon), as they investigate an abduction that they witness one night. The movie will open in selected Hong Kong cinemas starting August 31st. It will be released in Korean audio with English and Chinese subtitles.
