Kim Seung-woo's New Film to Be Released in Japan

Top Korean actor Kim Seung-woo is starring in a Japanese film that will make it to Japanese theaters on February 24th.

The film, entitled "Curling Angels", is directed by Japanese director Shun Nakahara and stars Kim and Japanese actress Fusako Urabe. In the film, Kim plays both roles of a former member of Korea's national curling team and a Korean star in Japan.

The cast of "Curling Angels" includes several top Japanese actresses, including Megumi Seki and Kazue Fukiishi. It's a story about a group of high school girls learning to play the game of curling. The film's production company has launched an all-out PR tour with Kim as the main star. Kim had been busy in Japan last week holding interviews to promote the film.

Other Korean celebrities who starred in Japanese feature films include actor Ahn Sung-ki in "Sleeping Man" and actress Bae Doona in "Linda, Linda, Linda".
