Lee Jin-uk and Moon Chae-won's 'Goodbye Mr. Black' has secured airtime with MBC

On October 13th, "Goodbye Mr. Black" has announced ""Goodbye Mr. Black" has been confirmed to air on MBC in the first half of next year". Lee Jin-uk, Moon Chae-won, Kim Kang-woo and Song Jae-rim will begin filming soon.

The motif of "Goodbye Mr. Black" is based on 'The Count of Monte Cristo'. The revenge melodrama tells the story of a man, who goes through fatal situations several times while he is on a journey to take a revenge. The male lead Cha Ji-won (Black, Lee Jin-uk) recovers his faith about people and love through his bride Swan (Moon Chae-won) whom he married in order to hide his identity.

Even before the airtime has been secured, "Goodbye Mr. Black" drew heated attention. The anticipation on the drama has been maximized thanks to the dramatic storyline and stormy development of story proven through cartoonist Hwang Mi-na's original cartoon, screenplay by the master of romantic melodrama, writer Moon Hee-jeong, who wrote "Missing You" and 'Can You Hear my Heart' and more, the star-studded cast including Moon Chae-won Lee Jin-uk, Kim Kang-woo and Song Jae-rim and the large scale of filming across international locations.
