Lee Min-ji is starring in the MBC drama "The Red Sleeve".

The new MBC drama "The Red Sleeve" is based on a popular webtoon of the same name. It depicts the life of Seong Ui-bin, who was a court lady and rose to the rank of the first queen as a lady of the court, and her love with King Jeongjo, the 22nd king of the Joseon Dynasty. It is the work of writer Jeong Hae-ri and director Jeong Ji-in.

In the drama, Lee Min-ji plays Kim Bok-yeon, a court lady and a friend of Seong Deok-im (Lee Se-young) in the royal palace. She is a cheerful and lively character, always content with palace life. She considers loyalty with her comrades as a priority, and actively participates when it comes to virtue. Curiosity is mounting over the birth of the character Kim Bok-yeon, a court lady who will be portrayed with her unique interstellar face and savory acting.
