Actors Lee Sang-yeop and Kim Sohye meet in "My Lovely Boxer".

KBS 2TV drama "My Lovely Boxer" is about genius boxer Lee Kwon-sook (Kim Sohye). Ahead of the Grand Slam, she meets Kim Tae-yeong (Lee Sang-yeob), a sports agent, and faces an inflection point in her life. Tae-yeong approaches Kwon-sook for the special pitcher Kim Hee-won. He is human scum that attracts talented players, use them up to the maximum in a short amount of time and retires them. He won't blink an eye when it comes to the player's spirit and money.

It is based on the novel "My Lovely Boxer Lee Kwon-sook", which is written by Kim Dong-nam. It is the second award-winning work of Kyobo Bookstore's story contest. It will be made by Choi Sang-yeol, director of the "Drama Special 2021 - Hee-soo" (2021) and Kim Min-joo-IV, writer of "Clear Tomorrow" (2017). It will broadcast in the first half of next year.
