Movie 'Oldboy' had debuted with the tenth place in Japan box office.

According to Japan's movie-special site eiga.com (www.eiga.com), Director Park Chan-wook's 'Oldboy' took tenth place on its first weekend box office of November that totaled till Nov. 7. 'Oldboy' was released in 120-150 movie theaters through all the area of Japan.

Among Korean movies that recently were released in Japan, 'ToeGuk Gi: Brotherhood of War' and 'Silmido' have occupied opening showing fourth place each and 'Scandal' has greeted the movie's release first week as the eight place.

Oldboy Premise/Synopsis is as follows: The original followed a man who has been kidnapped by unknown captors and held in a room for 15 years. On the anniversary of his capture, he is put to sleep and wakes up in the middle of a city. The plot centers on his search to find out who kidnapped him and why.
