Musiq Soulchild to perform in Korea for the first time in Oct

American soul artist Musiq Soulchild will be performing for the first time ever in Korea next month.

According to the concert's promoter S2 Entertainment, the singer's official Twitter website said he will be taking the stage of the live Seoul Soul Festival 2010 held at the Peace Plaza located in the War Memorial of Korea on October 9 and 10.

Musiq Soulchild, whose real name is Taalib Johnson, released his debut album "Aijuswanaseing" in 2000, featuring the single "Just Friends (Sunny)".

His second album "Juslisen", which was released two years later, made its debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Charts and went platinum. The singer has produced various other albums which include his hit songs "Love" and "IfULeave".

Other artists on the line-up for the music fest include U.S. rapper Sean Kingston, Korean singers Se7en, Jay Park, DJ DOC, Supreme Team and mAd sOuL cHiLd.
