Hyun Seunghee, a member of the group Oh My Girl, has confirmed her appearance in tvN's new drama "Jeong Nyeon".

WM Entertainment said on Wednesday, "Hyun Seunghee will play the role of Cho-rok in the drama "Jeong Nyeon"".

Based on the Naver Webtoon of the same name, "Jeong Nyeon" is a drama about the entry and growth of a female theater troupe immediately after the Korean War in the 1950s.

In the drama, Hyun Seunghee plays the role of Cho-rok, a fellow researcher who entered the Meeran Theater Company through an audition like Jeong-nyeon (Kim Tae-ri). Cho-rok hates and harasses Jeong-nyeon, but she is a cute character who is secretly simple and easy to read by others..

Meanwhile, "Jeong Nyeon" is scheduled to air in the second half of the year.
