S. Korean Actress Lee Mi-Sook as "Goddess"

A rare photo of a stunning young beauty of mid-career South Korean actress Lee Mi-sook has recently been released to the local media.

Local media referred to the actress as a "goddess" in their description of the hugely popular actress.

The photo was taken in 1978 when she made her screen debut in the local Korean entertainment market.

Lee Mi-sook (이미숙) was born in South Korea's North Chungcheong Province on April 2, 1960.

She graduated from Singwang Girls' High School. Lee is referred to as one of "The Troika of the 1980s" along with Won Mi-kyung and Lee Bo-hee who dominated the screen of the time.

Lee won the Miss Lotte Favorite Award, and was elected as a TV actress of TBC, and debuted with Moreuneun cheolbuji directed by Kim Eung-cheon in 1979.

She starred in Fire Bird directed by Lee Gyeong-tae in 1980, and won the New Actress Award at Grand Bell Awards
