After a successful round 2 "SM Town Live in Tokyo Special Edition" concert in Tokyo Dome, he said, "The future for Hallyu is bright. It should be OK for the next 3~5 years".

He said, "Unless we are a team of national athletes we can't speak for Hallyu's identity or current being but K-Pop started 10 years ago with BoA. According to Japanese rental brand Tsutaya, sales related to Hallyu recorded the highest this month and jumped over all American movies. The market is still growing. In Europe, many people make their debuts through auditions and they were interested in the way we creates singers with planned strategies. Going overseas means to predict and plan. SNS is definitely helping Hallyu as well as doing harm. SNS is just an effective marketing tool but not necessarily".

He concluded, "We are not targeting for short term benefits. For example, what TVXQ did is amazing. Therefore, they're still here despite what they went through. This problem opens the doors for the next singer. It's not about being 'number one' but about being 'powerful'. We have taken our place in Japan and we are interested in the Chinese market as well. I hope we become the main in not only Korea, China and Japan, but in Asia".
