Smart Tech! Smart Life! Smart Korea!, The "Smart M Tech Show 2013"
The "Smart M Tech Show 2013" was held at the COEX in Seoul, from June 18 to 20. The event was hosted by Maeil Kyungjae and MBN. The "Smart M Tech Show" showcased a number of devices based on smart technology that promote smart lifestyles and improve the quality of our lives.
The "Smart M Tech Show" was comprised of four sections-the "Smart Work/Mobile Office Fair", the "Smart Learning Korea – Educational IT Solution Fair", the "NFC, Smart Card & Payment Fair", and the "Smart Life Show".
About 120 small and medium sized enterprises as well as large conglomerates from home and abroad, participated in the tech show and presented various smart technologies, devices, and services, clearly demonstrating the rising trend of smart technology related industries. People from all walks of life, including businessmen, officials from government and public institutions, and the general public, came to the tech show, where smart technology and devices were actively promoted and sold.
QODE Interactive is a youth business venture, specializing in the development of HTML5 convergence technology, M2M (WOT) based multi-device network games, and interactive table-type devices. Some examples of their interactive tables are the Drunken Shot, an LED Smart Interactive Game Table for bars and pubs, and the Coffee Cube, an interactive sales table for coffee shops, and various educational interactive tables.
LED Smart Interaction Table
The LED Smart Interaction Table is mounted with an LED and LCD monitor screen, which is its most prominent feature. This item uses convergence technology to interconnect an interactive table with a smartphone with a simple swing and touch, allowing games to be played and products to be displayed. Currently, a board game called "Blue Marble" has been developed and more games will be added in the future.
Besides games, the main feature of this table is the multi-interaction capability. The table identifies the function of a device and connects the monitor, table, and smartphone, so that each device can effectively interact with each other. In addition, the control function allows the user to operate various functions of the table with a smartphone. Lastly, the LED control function allows the user to personalize the design of the LED screen and control it with a smartphone.
These tables could help promote a healthy group culture for today's increasingly individualized society and smartphone generation. Also, various content and advertisements can be set up on the table. We expect them to be used in different settings, including arcades, bars, and coffee shops.
2. AHA Inc.
AHA Inc. is a company that develops solutions and software to implement smart learning through devices such as electronic blackboards, tablet monitors, DID systems and screens. At the tech show, AHA Inc. displayed a number of screen and monitor products.
Interactive Smart LED
Boards on which you do not use chalk or markers but instead can watch colorful video clips and images are already being available on the market. In line with this trend, AHA Inc. has developed an interactive smart LED board for smart learning. This product uses tempered, anti-reflective glass and boasts clear and sharp picture quality. You can directly write or enter text on the screen, which allows maximum efficiency in educational settings. Also, the board is compatible with various media, increasing its potential to display more content. Additionally, it is compatible with other smart devices, greatly boosting its usefulness.
AHA Digital Signage – Smart PR

AHA Digital Signage combined the concept of multimedia broadcasting with touchscreen technology to make a multipurpose, multimedia display board to replace print materials, such as posters, billboards, and guides. It has built-in speakers, a high-brightness LCD panel, and supports full HD video clips, as well as being wired with a LAN line. In recognition of its function and its classy design, AHA Digital Signage received the "Good Design" Award from the Ministry of Knowledge Economy. You can see the AT&D symbol on the screen.
The Smart Booth
Recently, smokers have been running out of places to smoke, as smoking has been banned in many areas. To provide spaces for smokers and minimize exposure to second-hand smoke, Poscare Holdings developed the Smart Booth. Poscare Holdings' Smart Booth is equipped with a number of distinctive smart functions and facilities, designed for convenience.
A ventilation system, air conditioner and heater, to maintain proper room temperature, are built in. Also, an LED system with natural ventilation and smoke removal functions are installed in the booth, providing a pleasant environment by keeping the air fresh and clean, even when a group of people are smoking at once.
