Jae-yeol (Zo In-sung) thought of Han Kang-woo (Do Kyung-soo) as a real person because of his trauma and didn't know that Han Kang-woo didn't exist.

However, it seemed that people around Jae-yeol were going to find out about Han Kang-woo soon.

Jae-yeol's friend Tae-yong (Tae Hang-ho) was shocked to check the CCTV Jae-yeol was in. Previously, Jae-yeol had stopped Kang-woo from being beaten up by his father and reported domestic violence to the police. However, the CCTV only showed Jae-yeol punching the air.

The police said, "Jang Jae-yeol is strange". And Tae-yong cried saying, "There must be a reason behind this. If this video gets out, I'll sue anyone for defamation".

Tae-yong went to the house the police claimed was Han Kang-woo's. Han Kang-woo wasn't there, even though it was Jang Jae-yeol's old house.

Tae-yong called Jae-yeol and asked him for Han Kang-woo's number saying the publication company wanted to see the boy's writing. However, the number which Jae-yeol gave him was a non-existant number.

Tae-yong went to the school the supposed Han Kang-woo attended and tried to find any piece of evidence about the boy. However, Han Kang-woo didn't exist anywhere. Tae-yong realized Han Kang-woo wasn't real.
