On the twenty-seventh episode of the MBC drama "Lights and Shadows", aired on February 27th, Jang Cheol-hwan's (Jeong Gwang-ryeol) right hand man Cha Soo-hyeok (Lee Pil-mo) took over the show business marijuana case.

Cha Soo-hyeok found out that there were many celebrities who used marijuana including those in Kang Ki-tae's (Ahn Jae-wook) company and coaxed Ki-tae's rival Noh Sang-taek (Ahn Gil-gang) into giving him the list of stars who smoked weed in order to get rid of Kang Ki-tae.

Having the list in hand and thought, "Knowing that marijuana is illegal, those who think this is a way of expressing their freedom should all be handed over". A series of policies such as banning of drugs and forbidding stars to use English names was a trick to squash the desires of the youth, who were against the policies.

Cha Soo-hyeok told Kang Cheol-hwan, "You should take this to the President. Then you will be in his favor once again" while he told Kim Jae-wook (Kim Byeong-ki), who is friends with Kang Ki-tae, to leave the weed case up to him. He was going to witness Kang Ki-tae being taken down by someone he knew and watch their relationship fall apart.
