Two years ago, Jo Han-woo met Cha Joon-gyu for the first time at Choi Kang-woo's family funeral. Kang-woo decided to turn a blind eye for his friend's sick daughter's sake. It seemed like Kim Min-joon (Woo Do-hwan) was going to take action, but he gave Jo Han-woo a secret USB so that Cha Joon-gyu could continue trusting him.

A while later, Min-joon learned that Joo Hyeon-gi (Choi Won-young) was hiding the truth about his father's death for his corporate succession. Kang-woo and Min-joo's cooperation got them a step closer to the truth.

Mad Dog guessed there would be a black box in the room so when Cha Joon-gyu left for the funeral of the JH Group director, they snuck in.

Cha Hong-joo (Hong Soo-hyun) even told Jang Ha-ri (Ryu Hwa-young) to bring her the papers, which went smoothly

However, Kang-woo got a call from Jo Han-woo that it was a trap.

Joo Hyeon-gi had bugged Mad Dog and therefore knew their plans. Cha Joon-gyu was in on it too and told Jo Han-woo to catch Mad Dog while Cha Hong-joo had intentionally got Jang Ha-ri into this.

Mad Dog fell into their trap.
