Oh Cho-rim got an autograph from an idol star, who came to the restaurant where she was eating. She told Choi Moo-gak, "He is really popular these days. If you flip over the autograph, it is his name. Can't you notice?" Choi Moo-gak all of sudden got a clue from what Oh Cho-rim said and could step forward toward the secrets of the barcodes left on the victims' bodies after they had been murdered.

Choi Moo-gak flipped over the barcodes across horizontal axis and figured it out that the first five digits of the barcodes were consisted of "978" indicating printed materials and "89" indicating Korea and the rest part of all barcodes belonged to books published by one publishing company in Korea.

The serial killer left the barcodes in the chronological order the victims were murdered matching the publishing years of the books

Choi Moo-gak could come up with the probable barcode, that would be left on the next victim, '9788986755060'.
