Sim Jae-bok was an outstanding worker but she dropped out of university and was a married woman with two kids. Therefore she couldn't get the permanent position at work. She knew there was nothing she could do about it but she said to her boss, "If you know I've worked hard and know I've done well, then shouldn't you pick me? Did you fire me because I didn't finish university and because I'm married?"

She also said what had to be said to her mother-in-law who said to her, "You only make enough for food on the table". Jae-bok retorted, "That money put your son through university. I even give you pocket money from that money. Her mother-in-law knew about her son Koo Jeong-hee (Yoon Sang-hyun) having an affair and said, "Do you think it's easy living with such a perfect husband? He refused all the rich women who wanted to marry him for you". Jae-bok didn't stand down and said, "There were many rich men who wanted to marry me too. Maybe I should have married them".

Her superior Kang Bong-goo (Sung Joon) said to her, "Don't show off in front of me" and Jae-bok talked back, "I show off only what I have to show off not like you who have nothing better than me but being a lawyer".

The best was what she said to Jeong Na-ri (Lim Se-mi) her husband's mistress. Jeong Na-mi was proud of herself despite the fact that she was having an affair with a married man so Jae-bok told her to 'get on her knees'.
