"The Classified File", based on a true story

While the movie "The Classified File" is being released this coming June, the subject of the story is the issue at the moment.

"The Classified File" is based on a true story in 1978 about a detective and a shaman finding a missing child through fortunetelling. A child in Busan was kidnapped twice in 1979 and that's where the story starts. In the second kidnap, the ransom was at an astounding 150 million won and a hypnotic investigator was recruited for the first time in Korea. Even the president released a statement in front of the public.

The case ended with the investigators arresting the culprit but there were others who saved the child during the first kidnap. They are Gong Gil-yong and Kim Joong-san a detective and a shaman who were recruited by the parents of the missing child. While most missing child cases are switched to an open criminal investigation, there is potential of the child's life being put at risk so Gong and Kim ran the investigation in secret. They managed to bring the child back home in 33 days. However, their work wasn't reported publicly and no one knew about the hard work they put into the case.

_Kwak_Gyeong-taek came across this story and claimed he wanted to show everyone that conviction wins and is going to reveal a story no one knew about for 37 years.
