"Untouchable Lawmen" Im Chang-jung, "I can call myself an actor now"

"There are different kinds of movies. Let's say 10 people say the movie sucks but 1 says the movie is great. Isn't that movie well-made? What is well-made? "Untouchable Lawmen" is the best movie for me. I starred in that movie to take over 2005.

Im Chang-jung is back with "Untouchable Lawmen" "Untouchable Lawmen" is about a profiler who can't control his temper and a detective who is crazy for women, joining forces to track down the boss of an organization.

"At first the director said Shin Jai-ho so I thought it was the comedian. Someone told me about a movie that was going to be the best and I came home to find a script that was "Untouchable Lawmen"".

Im Chang-jung's specialty is comedy and that's what he did in "Untouchable Lawmen". He's mostly been in action films since his debut and he says it's too tiring. Doing well and being good at something are two different things. He even said sorry to the martial arts director.

"I thought I was going to die. My sides were all bruised. I did tell my co-star to actually hit me for the movie and I didn't think about wearing a guard. The next day I remembered to. I'm lucky my ribs didn't break. The next day one of the stars said his legs were in pain and Choi Daniel said, "If you hurt that much then what about Im Chang-jung?" The star told me that he thought I was in guards".

Im Chang-jung said he's at the age where he can be called an actor. He wants to be a psycho next.

"I don't think I'm going to get love stories in the future. I think I'm old enough to be called an actor now. I want to try being a psycho. Everyone says I'm universal but I think there are various types of people in the world. Psychos think they are normal and I want to try that".

Im Chang-jung also has plans to become a movie director. He's not sure when but he has a scenario.

"I have my scenario ready. I am going to multi-star in it. I want to make something like "Love Letter". It's a beautiful movie. I have been planning for 10 years. But every year, I chicken out. I realize how much I didn't know every year so I get scared. Being a director isn't forever unless you have made a hit. So I need to sit on it for a bit longer".
