Woo Ji-hyun to Star in "The Kidnapping Day"

Actor Woo Ji-hyun will join ENA's new original drama "The Kidnapping Day" and work with Yoon Kye-sang, his agency Noon Company said on the 15th.

"The Kidnapping Day" is an emotional birdie thriller about the world's special cooperation between the clumsy kidnapper Yoon Kye-sang (Kim Myeong-joon) and 11-year-old genius girl Yu Na (Choi Ro-hee). It is based on a novel of the same name by Jung Hae-yeon, a leading writer of the Korean thriller genre.

In the drama, Woo Ji-hyun plays lawyer Choi Taek-gyeon. He is a curious person who does not easily show emotions and expressions, and will further improve the completeness of the work through detailed character portrayals unique to actor Woo Ji-hyun.

Last year, Woo Ji-hyun has been active not only on screens and TV screens but also on OTT platforms such as the movies "The Highway Family", "Nobody's Lover", dramas "All of Us Are Dead", "Anna", and "The Empire". He is expected to show various moves this year, including "The Kidnapping Day".
