"Because This Is My First Life" is a romantic drama about homeless Yoon Ji-ho (Jung So-min) who wishes for a home of her own, and house-poor Nam Se-hee (Lee Min-ki) who rents out to Ji-ho.

"Because This Is My First Life" is based on the theory that this is everyone's first life and when a child makes a mistake, most people say, "It's alright. It's your fist time", but when an adult makes a mistake, it's not so generously accepted.

Yoon Nan-joong said, "There are a lot of 'first tries' for children and adults, but no one comforts grown-ups. This is our first life and everyone goes through their twentiess and thirtiess for the first time".

"Because This Is My First Life" is expected to relate with anyone in this generation who works hard to buy a house of their own, but barely makes it.

Characters in the drama are Nam Se-hee, Yoon Ji-ho, Woo Soo-ji (Esom), macho man Ma Sang-goo (Park Byung-eun), Yang Ho-rang (Kim Ga-eun) and Sim Won-seok (Kim Min-seok).

Ji-ho and Se-hee represent salary workers of this generation. Ji-ho with an unstable job lives a tiring life, moving every few years, while Se-hee has a stable job and house he wants, but has loan payments for the next thirty years.

Yoon Nan-joong said, "I feel better when I see people in similar situations as me. The characters in this drama are the kind of people we see in our everyday lives".

"Because This Is My First Life" begins on the 9th of October.
