Actor Yoo Hae-jin has recently moved into a new home in Gugi-dong, Seoul due to its proximity to Mt. Bukhan.

Yu is an ardent climber and the first thing he does whenever he is working away from home is to look for a nearby mountain.

He says that climbing allows him to focus better on the details of the roles he plays. But come 6 p.m., he climbs down to listen to a radio show hosted by Bae Chul-soo, which he describes as "the happiest moment" of his day.

The show features mostly contemporary American and British pop.

He relieves stress with music and by smoking, though he is now trying to quit. He has been smoking electric cigarettes for four months now and regrets that he ever took up the habit.

"I started acting in high school. I found it interesting and experienced catharsis", he recalls. "Stage actors are usually different from the average person in one way or another. For me, the stage was where I was able to relieve stress".

In the past, he used to play only supporting roles but now his efforts seem to finally pay off. He played leading parts in three recently released movies -- "The Classified File", "The Unjust" and "Veteran".

But he says he will continue to be satisfied with what life has given him.
