'Adventure of Giparang, a hero of Hwarang, plays a Korean traditional culture brand role in world animation market

As Gyeongju Expo's three-dimensional screen 'Adventure of Giparang, a hero of Hwarang, plays a Korean traditional culture brand role in world animation market, this cinema is being assessed to contribute for Korea to being reborn as an animation power and to acquainting the world with Silla culture.

Following its screen from April 23 in Italy, the movie was screened in LFCA (Large Format Cinema Association) Conference too, which was held at LA Universal City, the U.S. on April 28.

The Large Format Cinema Association is a non-profit corporation created to benefit the large format cinema community of film makers, distributors, equipment manufacturers, consultants, exhibitors and others.

This cinema is an animation, which began its oversea export on November last year for the first time as domestic 3D three-dimentional screen as it gained public favor from the house over 1 million people in the Kyeongju World Culture Expo.

An official at the Kyeongju World Culture Expo Organizing Committee said that 'Adventure of Giparang' will boost Korean culture brand's value by adding its screening numbers in each nation theme parks of the world, explaining that this animation's oversea screening has significance to show the glorious Silla civilization to foreigners.

This movie's oversea export is the first example to have distributed domestic 3D HD-notch to overseas.
