'The Indiforum 2005' to screen a total of 68 films

'The Indiforum 2005', an independent Film Festival, is held from May 28 through June 6.
This year's Indiforum 2005, which will be proceeded in the Seoul Art Cinema as well as Gallery175, screens a total of 68 films such as ' 2005 independent films', 19 oversea special screening and so forth.
Animation section's new trend as well as documentary's rush are conspicuous this year.
'This is not documentary' will be decorated as an opening film and to commemorae its 10th Anniversary,the Film Festival screens cinemas such as 'Good romance" who were loved by the audience.
Founded in May 1996, Indieforum is an independent film and video makers' assocation which intends to be an open forum for the discussion of Korean independent films and the reality they are facing.
It has been holding 8 annual film festivals whth forums until 2002 and 13 monthly forums since Feb. 2003.
The IndieForum is now greeting its 10th Anniversary. The word '10th Anniversary' implies something of celebration. This year's slogan, seems to express Indieforum's intention to celebrate something.
The object of this celebration may be the existence of IndieForum itself that it outlived many difficulties due to its fragile material base. Not least, this year's IndieForum will be a conscious act to verify the traces of its past and the place of its present, and forecast its future and direction rather than to indulge itself in celebrating something.
