She made her debut with a teen drama in 2003, and about 10 years later she showed her versatility as an actress with a "tomboy" role in the hit TV series "Reply 1994" in 2013.

Go, who recently finished work on the ancient knight-themed TV series "Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth", is now pondering her next move.

"I'd like to do something fun -- the kind of movie that I would want to see as a moviegoer. I also want to play different kinds of roles, hopefully parts that are appropriate for my age", Go said. "I'm looking for a project that will broaden my horizons. There are many genres I've never tried", she added.

Go said she always enjoys and learns a lot from her projects. She often tries to make up for things she feels she has missed or lacks in her life.

"I try to travel whenever possible. I went to the U.S. after finishing "Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth", and traveling gave me a sense of freedom. I have 'freedom' here already, but there are some limits on me", she said. "I try to keep my everyday life varied".

That could be her way of preparing for future projects. She hopes to show her fans that she can play diverse characters.
